Arctic Lapland Rally is a national and international motor rally in the Finnish Rally Championship held since 1965. The rally is driven on ice and snow in arctic conditions at the end of January, when it can get as cold as −30°C. Thanks to its exotic setting, Arctic Lapland Rally also attracts foreign race car drivers, former and current Formula 1 drivers and other people interested in action and snow. The race car drivers have included Mika Häkkinen and Kimi Räikkönen, to name a few.
The annual rally is driven in Rovaniemi and its surrounding region on the last weekend of January. The audience can witness the starts and crossing the finish line in the comfort of Mäntyvaara’s indoor stand.
