International horse racing event

Arctic Horse Race 2019 is an international horse racing event held in Rovaniemi, attracting spectators from all around the world.

The first Arctic Horse Race event ever will be held on Saturaday 14 December 2019 starting at 6 p.m.

The programme starts already in the afternoon with a free winter event for the whole family. The first Arctic Challenge harness racing driver competition’s winner will be celebrated in the horse race.

Toto75 horse racing EVENING EVENT

After the horse race, the VIP area will turn into an ice disco – admission is free for those with a ticket to the horse race. The famous TV star Suvi Pitkänen will DJ the icy dancing fun.

FREE EVENT ON SATURDAY STARTING AT 1 P.M

The free event on Saturday features a wide range of programme for the entire family in the public area of the horse race centre: student’s Ravikunkku sulky pulling race, reindeer and pony riding and much more. Further information about the programme will be available at www.arctichorserace.fi closer to the event.

The free event will end with the presentation of the Arctic Challenge jockeys, taking place on the stage of the public area.
